Like most indexers, I am a lifelong lover of reading, books, writing, and the wider world.
In early adulthood, I taught English Language and Literature in a secondary school in northern Nigeria. This experience led to further studies and professional work in the area of Africa-focused human rights, social justice, and development.
For the past ten years, I have combined part-time university teaching and activism on social issues with indexing work. My academic posts have included Women and Gender Studies, Canadian Studies, Global Studies, Sociology, Political Science, Human Rights, and Law and Society.
It was through my own experience publishing an academic book that I stumbled upon the field of indexing work, and the awesome community of indexers – and got hooked! Indexing is enjoyable as it feeds my endless curiosity about the world!
I would be delighted to be considered for your next indexing job!
